This passed Tuesday, Marion Cotillard sat down with Melena Ryzik (the NY Times entertainment correspondent).  She talked about her acting method extensively—which for her is mostly improvisation, depending on the film project—and spoke particularly on the La Vie En Rose and Rust and Bone, her latest film released, which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival this year. (See trailer below).

It’s a very candid interview about her career—and what at times, is a very trying creative process—but incredibly rewarding to a committed actress such as herself; (Cotillard also comes from a family of thespians). Have a watch  at the full telling interview featured below (after the jump).  Rust and Bone was released in France and Belgium all the way back in May and is currently playing in the US, Canada and most of Europe and a few Asian countries in selected theaters.  To see if it’s playing in your country at the moment, go HERE
